Job summary

CSAV Systems designs, installs, and supports professional AV systems for commercial, corporate, municipal, institutional, and House of Worship clients. We are seeking an AV Commissioning Technician / Field Engineer who enjoys solving problems, getting systems across the finish line, and working directly with clients to ensure a reliable, intuitive, and professional final result.

Responsibilities include commissioning and troubleshooting audio, video, control, conferencing, and networked AV

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial AV installation, service, commissioning, or engineering.
• Fundamental AV signal flow and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Hands-on networking, Dante, DSP, conferencing, or control systems.
• Comfortable working independently and with clients.
• Strong communication, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot audio, video, control, conferencing, and networked AV systems.
• Configure cameras, displays, DSPs, microphones, switchers, amplifiers, and control equipment.
• Work with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Dante, managed switches, VLANs, PoE, and AVoIP.
• Support systems using Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Shure, Logitech, Poly, Cisco, and similar platforms.
• Resolve punch-list items, update documentation, and train clients.
• Represent CSAV professionally onsite and help build strong, long-term client relationships.

We are seeking an AV Commissioning Technician / Field Engineer who enjoys solving problems, getting systems across the finish line, and working directly with clients to make sure the final result is reliable, intuitive, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot audio, video, control, conferencing, and networked AV systems
• Configure cameras, displays, DSPs, microphones, switchers, amplifiers, and control equipment
• Work with Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Dante, managed switches, VLANs, PoE, and AVoIP
