Job summary

New Era Technology is hiring an AV Field Engineer to install, commission and optimize AV/multimedia systems. You will work with engineering to configure DSP, control systems, and networked AV; perform on-site tuning for stadiums, arenas, and auditoriums, and coordinate with integrators and programmers.

The role requires at least four years of AV experience, strong customer focus, and hands-on fabrication, installation, and documentation skills. Hybrid work with travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/HS minimum with CTS or CTS-I and ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Experience tuning large-venue audio systems and installation/

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and complete AV/multimedia systems per standards.
• Configure DSP, control systems, and tuning for large venues.
• Document equipment data and maintain inventory.
• Support project managers and engineers on technical requirements.
• Provide daily progress reports and coordinate with programmers.
