The role requires hands‑on prototyping, data analysis, and automation of tests across the manufacturing value stream. A background in electro‑mechanical hardware, sonar data, and eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, EE/Computer Engineering, Ocean Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably test design of electro-mechanical hardware in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience analyzing sonar and/or acoustic data from subsea sensors.
• Experience with Autonomous Underwater Vehicles and offshore robotics testing.
• Proficiency in Python, Matlab, Shell or similar.
• Experience developing full system test plans and executing them on fast-paced timelines.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
• Bias for action and hands-on testing; able to prototype tests.

Aufgaben

• Optimize test design and offshore acceptance test execution for AUVs.
• Collaborate with Systems/Test and Evaluation teams through product cycles.
• Develop automated post-mission analysis tools to evaluate vehicle performance.
• Build testing capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.
• Develop and manage test ecosystem to ensure reliability and design intent.
• Perform hands-on root-cause analysis of electro-mechanical subsystems.
• Design semi-automated testing equipment/protocols for subsystem testing.
• Produce and maintain testing logs and troubleshoot equipment.
