Job summary

Infosys is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 in Irvine, CA to lead complex incident resolution and proactive infrastructure assessments across banking, wealth management, and insurance domains. You will design scalable IT solutions, coordinate deployments, and ensure security/compliance while collaborating with onsite and offshore teams.

Bring Kubernetes, API integration, and analytical skills to optimize performance and drive efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; relocation/travel may be required.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes, API integration, and IT infrastructure assessment is a plus.
• Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills; able to document requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex incidents, perform root cause analyses, and document preventive recommendations.
• Assess client IT infrastructure, prepare reports, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Design scalable, cost-effective infrastructure solutions and produce technical documentation.
• Coordinate deployments, align release schedules, and manage version control.
• Lead maintenance, upgrades, and continuity plans across on-site and vendor teams.
• Analyze performance data to optimize system behavior and capacity planning.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits.
