Job summary

Methodica Technologies Inc. seeks an engineer to model features in MATLAB/Simulink, build Stateflow diagrams, and generate code with RTW. You will validate on bench setups, read schematics, and collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver vehicle features from concept to testing.

You will develop Simulink models from specifications, perform unit and system testing, and ensure AUTOSAR compliance where applicable, with strong teamwork and communication throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 2+ years of MATLAB/Simulink modelling experience.
• Strong Stateflow and RTW code generation knowledge.
• Experience in unit and system level testing.
• Ability to read schematics and data sheets.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Nice to have CAN tools exposure and AUTOSAR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for feature development.
• Discuss with feature owners and validation teams to capture the feature requirements.
• Create the feature implementation plan.
• Develop vehicle features in a modeling environment.
• Develop Simulink models from feature specifications.
• Feature validation in the Simulink environment.
• Auto code generation from Simulink feature models.
• Develop features following AUTOSAR guidelines.
• Feature validation and testing on a bench.
• Troubleshoot issues using CAN tools like CANoe, VehicleSpy, etc.
