Job summary

ASRC Federal Advanced Research is seeking a CAD Designer in Sterling Heights, MI to support autonomy vehicle integrations. You will create solid 3-D models and 2-D drawings using CREO, design wiring harnesses, and integrate power distribution across vehicle subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CAD or related field with 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of CREO design software suite.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 25% annually.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create solid 3-D models and 2-D drawings using CREO for concept analysis, simulation and drawings.
• Design wiring harnesses, cable routings and installation of electrical/electronic components in vehicle systems.
• Interface and integrate power distribution sources for new and existing systems.
• Develop software solutions and provide installation, start-up and technical support.
• Document modifications with drawings and instructions for Technical Data Package.
