Wise Equation Solutions Inc. seeks a Validation Engineer to support verification, validation, integration, and troubleshooting of drive-by-wire and autonomy control systems for autonomous off-highway vehicles.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing across vehicle subsystems and robust fault diagnostics. The engineer will develop automated test scripts using Python, PyTest, or Robot Framework, perform CAN/J1939/Ethernet validation, and use Vector tools with TRACE32 for root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of Validation/V&V, Embedded Systems, Vehicle Controls, or Autonomous Systems experience.
• Strong experience with MIL/SIL/HIL, CAN/CAN FD/J1939, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with embedded debugging, diagnostics, fault injection, and system integration.
• Automotive, off-highway, mining, heavy equipment, or autonomous vehicle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIL, SIL, HIL, system integration, regression, and vehicle-level testing.
• Validate steering, braking, powertrain, chassis, hoist, and autonomy control functions.
• Develop automated test scripts/frameworks using Python, PyTest, or Robot Framework.
• Perform fault injection, diagnostics, fail-safe, and CAN/J1939/Ethernet validation.
• Debug embedded systems and perform root-cause analysis using Vector tools and Lauterbach TRACE32.
• Support HIL bench setup, system integration, vehicle testing, and validation reporting.
