Qualifications

• BS or MS in STEM-related field as well as Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics industries in triage or related domains.
• Experience in test evaluation, root cause analysis, or quality assurance/control.
• Intermediate knowledge of coding or scripting languages and relational databases.
• Experience with simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Perform autonomy system failure and root cause analysis across real-world and simulated testing environments.
• Collaborate with internal and external domain experts to align on severity scoring frameworks.
• Synthesize data into reports, feedback, and visualizations for multiple teams.
• Utilize web-based tools for root cause analysis and analytics across test modalities.
• Participate in peer-to-peer quality assurance to stay aligned with Aurora standards.
• Facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders and present insights.
• Create and maintain hierarchical taxonomies to describe failures and trends.
• Keep documentation and training materials up to date for the team.
