Job summary

Zipline in South San Francisco invites a Software Integration Intern to join the team at the intersection of robotics, embedded software, and systems engineering. You’ll work on data analysis, visualization, and real-world autonomy software, learning how large safety-critical systems are tested and integrated across aircraft, simulation, and operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Familiar with Python for scientific programming and basic SQL.
• Familiar with Git and software documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze datasets from engineering systems and sensors to uncover patterns.
• Design charts and dashboards with Matplotlib/Seaborn/Plotly/Tableau.
• Develop real-time dashboards to monitor system performance.
• Assist with data cleaning, preprocessing, and SQL queries.
• Support ML model development and validation for autonomy.
• Learn to build small data pipelines and simulations.
• Contribute to scripts and tools to automate workflows.
