Wayve in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking a Robotics Generalist for the Vehicle Generalization team to ensure integration and evaluation of autonomous driving software across multiple vehicle platforms. You will drive cross-platform benchmarking and collaborate with measurement and controls teams on-site in a hybrid work setting.

The ideal candidate has strong data-driven development experience, robotics control expertise, and proficiency in C++ and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience with data-driven development, including defining metrics, building tooling, and data analysis.
• Core robotics expertise in control design, state estimation (odometry/localization), and sensor fusion.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle generalization benchmark evaluation and metrics tooling.
• Dive into platform variabilities and help paint the bigger picture for generalization metrics.
• Collaborate with OEM support engineering, measurement, and controls teams.
• Provide on-the-ground customer program support, potentially traveling domestically and internationally.
