Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an Autonomy Engineer (Level 2) to define fault detection and autonomy architectures for satellites/constellations. You will work on fault tolerance, redundancy, thresholds, and on-board tests to ensure health and safety of on-orbit spacecraft, contributing to CONOPS and DRM validation.

The role involves end-to-end software integration, validation, and on-console missions support, with 100% onsite work at a California location.

Competenze

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field is required.
2+ years experience in satellite design and/or operation.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, STK.
Experience with one or more satellite subsystems and/or system-level analysis.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Mansioni

Support fault and autonomy requirements definition, verification, and validation.
Maintain satellite/constellation states, modes, transitions, and other autonomous spacecraft behaviors.
Contribute to architecture concepts, CONOPS, and technology trade-off analyses.
Design and validate onboard fault detection, isolation, and responses and perform end-to-end validation of autonomy products and behaviors.
Support on-console operations for on-orbit missions.
Other duties as assigned.
