Responsibilities

• Collaborate with autonomy systems integration engineers to fulfill architecture requirements.
• Coordinate with program managers and architects to meet time, cost, and quality goals.
• Ensure base machine software changes are delivered on time for hauling releases (NPI/CPI).
• Support field data collection kits activities including design support and shipping to site.
• Document architecture specifications, design descriptions, verification plans, and test procedures.
• Assist in verification, validation, and troubleshooting hardware-in-the-loop tests.
• Develop application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.
• Work with base machine teams on autonomy-layer feature requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Work closely with Autonomy Systems integration engineers to ensure the product architecture requirements are fulfilled.
• Work with Technical program managers and Application Architects to ensure that program requirements are being met (time, cost, quality).
• Ensure that Base machine software changes are delivered on time for command for hauling releases. These can be NPI and CPI solutions depending on the state of the program.
• Support Field data collection kits activities. Including design support, procurement, shipping to site.
• Documenting architecture specifications, software design description, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
• Assisting in the verification and validation process. Includes supporting/troubleshooting hardware in the loop and proving ground test and development.
• Participating in design and development of application software and algorithms for robotic platforms.
• Work with L6 base machine team on feature requirements that impact the autonomy layer. Decompose / compose requirements.
• Work with validation teams to ensure that integrated features work as planned.
• Deliver field data kit support.

• Application Development Tools: Knowledge of application and system development; ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for developing applications.
