Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a technically strong, customer-facing engineer to lead a strategic autonomy program with a major automotive OEM in Japan. You will manage development through on-road deployment, acting as the daily point of contact and bridging customer needs with engineering teams.

You will drive milestones, build in-house capability via knowledge transfer, and coordinate across autonomy, systems, hardware, and operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading customer-facing technical programs or complex engineering projects.
Strong ability to translate high-level autonomy goals into technical requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication with customer leadership.

Responsibilities

Drive quarterly milestones for the customer in collaboration with the program lead.
Schedule and run onsite and remote meetings, technical reviews, and steering-level sessions.
Lead knowledge transfer programs and support customer engineers to build hands-on capability with Applied’s autonomy stack.
Align internal teams toward milestone delivery across autonomy software, systems, hardware, and operations.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor translating goals into actionable plans and requirements.
Investigate on-road issues and communicate findings to engineering and customer stakeholders.
Capture insights from deployments to influence product and roadmap decisions.
Plan and execute on-road autonomy demonstrations for prospective customers and OEMs.
