Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or aerospace.
• Strong foundation in AV systems and sensing technologies.
• Deep knowledge of sensor physics and signal processing.
• Expert knowledge of Systems Engineering and V&V best practices.
• Working knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
• Comprehensive coding skills in relevant programming languages.
• Extensive experience in sensor simulation and modeling.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end systems engineering lifecycle for Sensing and Perception.
• Create and refine Autonomous Vehicle Requirements using analytical methods.
• Own the definition of Sensing and Perception contracts.
• Act as the primary technical liaison across teams.
• Create methods to verify requirements using physical and simulated data.
• Improve sensor models for AVs.
• Contribute to the system safety case.
• Mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of rigorous engineering.
