Tycho AI, Inc. is seeking an Autonomy Engineer - Perception to design, validate, and deploy perception systems for autonomous vehicles. You will collaborate with engineers across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to prototype concepts and bring them toward production.

Ideal candidates have advanced degrees in robotics or CS, strong C/C++, and hands-on experience with SLAM, sensor fusion, and CV. Join a fast-growing startup shaping defense and commercial autonomy.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Engineering, CS or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with production-grade software experience.
• Experience building SLAM, perception, and sensor fusion systems.
• Strong 2D/3D CV and multi-view geometry expertise.
• Hands-on with real sensor data in challenging environments.
• Experience with ML for CV including ViT architectures.
• Experience developing multi-threaded real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain autonomy software for CV and navigation.
• Integrate systems into real-world platforms bridging research and production.
• Stay current on research and apply state-of-the-art autonomy and perception techniques.
