Job summary

Valley Regional Hospital, a Dartmouth Health member, seeks a skilled General Anesthesiologist to join its team and support a broad community hospital caseload. The role offers opportunities for teaching, collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and meaningful regional impact on patient care.

You will provide general and regional anesthesia, collaborate with surgeons and CRNAs, and contribute to high-quality perioperative services in a close-knit community setting in New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• NH and VT medical licensure in process or eligible.
• Experience or interest in both academic and community practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adult and adolescent patients.
• Care for a broad range of surgical cases across specialties (general, orthopedics, endoscopy, ophthalmology, robotics).
• Provide general and regional anesthesia, including regional blocks.
• Support efficient, high-quality OR operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, nurses and perioperative team.
• Help ensure access to high-quality anesthesia and surgical care locally.
• Participate in quality, safety and practice improvement initiatives.
• Maintain teaching and mentorship connections with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
