Job summary

Near Earth Autonomy, Inc. seeks a Software Integration Engineer to integrate and test autonomy software across platforms from quadcopters to full-scale helicopters. You will own software modules within the autonomy architecture and contribute to software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

The role requires strong C++ design skills, Python experience, and familiarity with ROS2 in a Linux environment; travel to field sites will be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with integration and field testing of robotic systems.
• Strong C++ design and programming skills; experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience with ROS2 and familiarity with Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test autonomy software and algorithms onto robotics platforms from quadcopters to helicopters.
• Focus on software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, and field testing; own utility and core software modules within the autonomy architecture.
