Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's in CS, software engineering, ECE, or related field.
• Programming in Python, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Rust.
• Basic understanding of robotics, autonomous systems and sensors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for field testing.
• Full-time in-office presence at HQ in Austin, TX, May–August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software components for autonomous systems, including navigation algorithms and sensor integration.
• Collaborate to optimize real-time decision-making, path planning, and object detection.
• Assist in developing testing frameworks and in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing for validation.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues during deployments.
• Create technical documentation: design specs, user manuals, test plans.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers for seamless software-hardware integration.
