Job summary

Boeing ESG seeks an Experienced Fault & Autonomy Engineer in Seal Beach, CA, with possible options to work from El Segundo, Aurora, or Herndon. You will lead fault and autonomy architecture development across spacecraft subsystems, collaborating with ConOps, SEIT, and customers to iterate and converge on effective solutions.

Role involves both individual contribution and project leadership. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in spacecraft subsystems, with emphasis on ACS/GNC, flight

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• BS in engineering/engineering technology/chemistry/physics/mathematics/data science or CS.
• 1+ years in Satellite Systems Engineering groups.
• 1+ years in systems engineering/integration or software engineering.
• 1+ years of failure analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Support development of first-of-kind space vehicles and missions.
• Prepare review packages for senior leadership.
• Work independently and in fast-paced, demanding environments.
• Ensure redundancy for fault tolerance in system designs.
• Develop autonomy aligned with customer risk tolerance.
