Job summary

Portland Bolt & Manufacturing Co LLC in Portland's Northwest Industrial area is seeking a maintenance millwright to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and fabricate independently, keeping our legacy machinery running with minimal supervision. You'll troubleshoot bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, and lubrication systems, read blueprints, and set up preventive maintenance while posting work in our ERP system.

Qualifications

7+ years industrial maintenance/millwright experience.
Experience maintaining and repairing older industrial machinery.
Proficiency in welding, fabrication and basic machining.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain production machinery, including legacy equipment.
Diagnose failures across bearings, gearboxes, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication systems.
Read blueprints and schematics, and reverse-engineer when needed.
Set up and run preventive/predictive maintenance; document work in ERP.
Fabricate and machine replacement parts when procurement is not possible.
