Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a GNC Engineer, ADCS for Starlink to develop and maintain attitude determination and control systems, and to write production-grade C++/Python code for satellite guidance and control.

You will work on simulations, HITL testing, state estimation, and robust software design across mission phases, with opportunities to impact thousands of satellites and millions of user terminals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, aerospace, physics or an engineering discipline.
• Software development experience in C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable and performant GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, services, and dashboards using C++ or Python.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Bulk data analysis to review performance data from various elements of the Starlink constellation and network.
• Write high quality technical documentation of programs, algorithms, or analysis.
• Design and implementation of GNC software for all mission concepts and contingencies.
• Design, development, and flight software implementation of onboard GNC algorithms.
