Job summary

Lumicity in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Vehicle Testing Specialist to drive daily live testing for its autonomous driving programs, working directly with development vehicles and coordinating with software and operations teams.

You will translate real-world observations into actionable feedback shaping autonomy software, with responsibilities spanning test plan execution, vehicle preparation, and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in AV/ADAS hardware/software testing or data logging.
• Strong working knowledge of cameras, radar, LiDAR, GPS/IMU.
• Able to differentiate hardware vs software issues.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a W2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans on AV/ADAS development vehicles.
• Collaborate with software engineering and operations teams to refine testing procedures.
• Maintain detailed test logs and report anomalies clearly.
• Prepare vehicles for daily testing, ensuring software and sensor readiness.
• Uphold safety protocols and operate with professional testing standards.
