Job summary

Foundation seeks a hands-on technician to assemble, wire, and maintain electric autonomous ATVs in a fast-paced prototype environment. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to rapidly iterate on designs and support on-site deployments.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in robotics hardware, strong mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with 12–48V systems. On-site SF work with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in robotics/hardware fields.
• Strong mechanical assembly and fastening skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with 12–48V electrical systems and safe HV handling is a plus.
• Proficiency with standard shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components on electric autonomous ATVs.
• Build and terminate wiring harnesses following schematics and drawings.
• Perform mechanical fabrication tasks (drilling, cutting, mounting).
• Support sensor, compute, and actuator integration (cameras, LiDAR, ECUs).
• Conduct vehicle bring-up, troubleshooting, and field rework during prototypes.
