Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Mid Level Automotive Technician for the AM shift in California to support a self-driving car initiative. The role emphasizes diagnostics, testing, maintenance, and documenting results while understanding drivetrains to identify and investigate problems.

The position requires experience tinkering with vehicles in a shop, leading others, and working with OEM tooling and diagnostics. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

Auto technician experience in automotive, robotics, aerospace, etc.
Experience in a shop environment with cleanliness and inventory management.
Comfortable working in a team and leading others (not solo).
Solid experience with tools: saws, screwdrivers, drill, spanners, etc.
Experience reading and following schematics, manuals, repair guides.
Strong documentation abilities—creating repair orders with diagnosis, procedures, parts.
