Your IT Recruiter in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Vehicle Software Platform Engineer for a 6-month W2 contract. Onsite, full-time, pay $65–$85/hr.

You will design and build scalable software for in-vehicle systems, writing production-quality C++ and Python that runs on vehicle OS and middleware layers. Responsibilities include developing modules interfacing with sensors and compute nodes, integrating with vehicle systems, and contributing to build and release processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of software engineering experience in embedded/vehicle domains.
• Experience with Linux and QNX, plus Ethernet/CAN interfaces.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement application- and middleware-level software features for AD/ADAS and connected vehicle platforms.
• Develop and maintain C++ and Python modules interfacing with sensors and vehicle systems.
• Contribute to system integration, debugging, and optimization on Linux- and QNX-based environments.
• Set up or adapt build flows and related tooling.
• Collaborate across software, hardware, and systems teams; participate in code reviews and release processes.
