Job summary

Latitude AI will be hiring for a Service Technician Associate to work within the Service Operations team, focusing on electric and hybrid vehicle maintenance and support for new builds. This entry-level to intermediate role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, documentation, and teamwork while contributing to Latitude’s autonomous vehicle program.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel up to 15% for training or support of other office

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with two (2) years of employment experience
• Experience working on vehicles professionally
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and ability to meet Latitude AI’s minimum driving record requirements, as verified by Motor Vehicle Record background checks prior to hire and periodically thereafter
• Able to create, modify, and install wiring systems and harnesses
• Entry level knowledge of vehicle diagnostic hardware and software
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Google Suite programs including Documents, Sheets and Gmail
• Expect to potentially travel up to 15% of the time for training and/or support of other office locations

Responsibilities

• Up-fit Latitude technology into new and existing fleet vehicles
• Professional level automotive repairs
• Accurately document all findings and track time accordingly
• Develop diagnostic skills in the autonomous vehicle field
• Communicate with cross functioning teams
• Follow provided work instructions completely and accurately
• Work in small teams as needed to complete any engineering requirements
• Track inventory of the location's parts and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
