Job summary

AutoNation Inc. seeks a dedicated Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor to support our service depot and collaborate with our Autonomous Vehicle Partner.

You will bridge communication between technicians and the partner to maintain service standards and meet expectations. Responsibilities include processing repair orders, assigning tasks to technicians, tracking progress, coordinating with parts and daily depot meetings, and ensuring procedures follow OEM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; automotive tech certification preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years as a service advisor in automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and process repair orders for warranty and non-warranty work, ensuring accuracy and OEM compliance.
• Allocate work to Autonomous Vehicle Technicians based on skill set and workload.
• Monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to the Autonomous Vehicle Partner.

AutoNation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Autonomous Vehicle Service Advisor to join our team in collaboration with our nationally recognized Autonomous Vehicle Partner. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation of our service depot, focusing on the maintenance and repair of autonomous vehicles. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between our technicians and our Autonomous Vehicle Partner, ensuring that service standards and expectations are consistently met.

Job Responsibilities:

• Initiate and process repair orders for both warranty and non-warranty work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with OEM standards.
• Allocate work assignments to Autonomous Vehicle Technicians based on skill set and workload, ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Monitor repair progress, providing timely updates to the Autonomous Vehicle Partner and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with parts providers to source necessary components, ensuring timely availability to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Participate in daily service depot meetings, providing insights on performance metrics and areas for improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all service activities, ensuring transparency and accountability
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure repair procedures are being met in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in automotive technology preferred.
• Valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service advisor role, preferably within the automotive or autonomous vehicle industry.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes; ASE certifications are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in using service management software and Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

The hourly pay range for this position is $33-40.
