Job summary

Trucking People in Grand Rapids, MN is seeking an experienced Local AV Operator to support our autonomous public transportation initiative. You will operate and monitor vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable rides for passengers while working with advanced vehicle tech and accessibility features.

This part-time role offers up to 30 hours per week, shifts from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and a $500 sign-on bonus. A valid driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving experience, and a clean record are

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Excellent driving record and strong safety awareness.
• Comfortable with autonomous vehicle technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor vehicles supporting autonomous transportation service.
• Provide safe and professional transportation to passengers.
• Interact with passengers and the operations team.
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs, including wheelchair users.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Keep vehicle interiors and exteriors clean and presentable.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and operational protocols.
• Document daily activities and provide operational feedback.
• Report issues and help improve the passenger experience.
