Job summary

AeroVect in Atlanta is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operator to oversee their autonomous airport tractors at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, moving live cargo with safety and efficiency.

You will work with engineers to test new features, log performance data, and supervise baggage tugs. A strong attention to detail, reliable scheduling, and ability to pass background checks are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving experience with a clean record.
• US Class C driver's license required.
• Experience in a lead or sole-supervisor role.
• Reliable, detail-oriented with strong communication.
• Alertness to monitor autonomous vehicle performance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Pass federal background checks and airport badge issuance.

Responsibilities

• Operate AeroVect's autonomous vehicles at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
• Log vehicle behavior, performance, observations, and metrics.
• Supervise autonomous baggage tugs and drive them to/from storage depot.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of vehicles and hardware.
• Work with engineering to trial and test new vehicle features.
• Interface with staff loading cargo for transport.
• Lend expertise to improve vehicle performance and handling of complex scenarios.
