Job summary

Transdev U.S. seeks an Autonomous Specialist to support depot operations and prepare fully autonomous vehicles for driver testing missions. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and personal responsibility while performing asset management and cleaning tasks.

You’ll work mostly independently or in small groups, install equipment, run startup and shutdown procedures, and generate daily reports. Travel up to 10% and opportunities for advancement are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; four-year degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads.
• Proficiency with laptops and GSuite apps (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Docs).
• Ability to use touchscreen smartphones and maintain clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate/drive van, truck or car five days a week, with or without a co-driver.
• Prepare autonomous vehicles for driver testing missions and asset management.
• Clean and disinfect work areas and vehicles; assist with basic vehicle adjustments.
• Complete daily reports, documents and shift checklists.
• Travel up to 10% and work shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or overnight.
