Qualifications

• Minimum 12+ months of Autonomous Vehicle Operator experience
• Active AVT permit
• Excellent driving history
• Experience working in a highly collaborative environment
• Demonstrated ability to promote a teamwork mentality
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to improve operational efficiency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Vehicle Operators during daily operations
• Ensure team members understand and execute short- and long-term operational goals
• Foster a safety-first, inclusive, and open communication culture
• Support Vehicle Operators and ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards
• Work alongside the team as a player-coach, leading by example
• Ensure software and hardware testing is completed accurately and to required standards
• Mentor and coach team members to meet performance expectations
• Provide written and verbal performance feedback
• Complete administrative tasks related to scheduling and shift validation
• Develop knowledge of proprietary vehicle operations software and systems
• Identify operational challenges and implement efficiency improvements
• Serve as a point of contact for contractors and clarify responsibilities
• Support missions inside and outside of vehicles
• Collaborate with fleet operations leadership and cross-functional teams
• Perform additional operational and leadership duties as assigned
