Job summary

Tensor is seeking talented and self-motivated software engineers to join our embedded system team in San Jose, CA. You will help build a reliable autonomous driving platform for our company’s robotic car initiative, contributing to kernel module development and driver stack for Linux-based automotive systems.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, familiarity with ARM architectures, Linux kernel concepts, and CAN bus technology.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ language
• Familiar with ARM platform architecture
• Familiar with Linux kernel and debugging
• Knows I2C, SPI, PCI-E, UART, CAN bus concepts
• Experience with makefile and Yocto projects
• CAN bus tooling experience with CANoe, Kvaser

Responsibilities

• BSP underlying driver development in automotive embedded software projects based on linux systems.
• Design and implement development and debugging of kernel modules and peripheral drivers.
• Participate in platform-based software design, coding, maintenance and version management.
• Assist in integration tests, fault analysis and resolution for domain controller software.
