Job summary

ISEE seeks an experienced engineer to integrate its self-driving kit into a base vehicle platform in Dallas, TX. You will maintain integration documentation and serve as the first responder for vehicle issues, performing hands-on triage to identify and resolve root causes.

Requirements include hands-on diagnostics of automotive bus systems, 5+ years in the field, and a Bachelor in Engineering. Proficiency with CAN, CANoe/CANalyzer, MATLAB/Simulink, and Linux is desired.

Qualifications

Job description

Role responsibilities include:

• Integrate ISEE's self-driving kit (consisting of sensors, actuators, ECUs, networking and communication devices, power delivery etc.) into a base vehicle platform
• Maintain integration design documentation
• Be the “first responder” for vehicle issues
• Triage vehicle issues hands-on, determine root cause and resolve

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts of the vehicle) and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas
• 5+ Years of Experience in the relevant industry
• Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electric, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience
• Experience with diverse automotive sensors incl. GPS, cameras, and LiDAR and automotive communication protocols such as CAN
• Passionate about self-driving vehicles and robotics
• Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer)
• Exposure to Matlab/Simulink tooling and Linux
• Worked with latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms including sensor calibrations
