Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Tester I for a W2 contract role to support autonomous vehicle testing in real-world environments. You will execute manual test plans, operate heavy equipment, and collaborate with Scrum teams to validate software releases.

The position requires up to 90% travel to on-site and off-site locations, lifting equipment as needed, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Training will occur during a two-week ramp-up on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to conduct field testing on autonomous vehicle systems.
• Comfortable operating and testing construction/heavy equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% for on-site and off-site testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
• Operate and control heavy equipment and test vehicles under various conditions.
• Work with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
• Identify, document, and report defects using JIRA and Jama.
• Collect and analyze test data to validate system functionality.
• Assist in on-site and off-site testing with safety compliance.
• Regularly lift and carry test equipment as needed.
