Job summary

ISEE is looking for a full-time Engineering Technician to join their team in Emeryville, California. The role involves implementing electromechanical systems and assisting engineers to launch new vehicles at customer sites.

The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience with a good mix of electrical and mechanical skills. Responsibilities include interfacing systems, building electrical components, and troubleshooting issues. Preferred experience with robotics and automotive systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in electrical and mechanical fields.
• Able to lift more than 40 lbs.
• Travel requirement up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Interface electromechanical systems with conventional automotive vehicles.
• Test and troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems.
• Document in-field issues and maintenance.
• Assist in autonomous vehicle bring-up at customer locations.

Skills

Ability to read, write, and interpret technical drawings & schematics

Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair

Diagnostics and troubleshooting experience

Basic electrical skills
