Job summary

ISEE in Dallas, TX, seeks an Autonomous Vehicle/Robotics Technician to join the Build Operations team. You will set up assembly areas, build prototype components and systems, install them on autonomous tractors, configure and bring up new vehicles, and perform end‑of‑line testing and system debugging.

The role requires hands‑on experience in vehicle repair or robot assembly, strong problem‑solving and documentation skills, and a safety‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years in vehicle repair/maintenance or robot assembly.
  • Experience assembling electronic/mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficiency with basic electrical theory.
  • Ability to follow build instructions and use a computer.
  • Detail oriented with focus on safety and procedure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install electromechanical systems and components.
  • Configure, commission, and troubleshoot new hardware and vehicle builds.
  • Assemble and install wiring harnesses.
  • Document issues and provide feedback to engineering and leadership.
  • Configure electronic modules and flash software.
  • Perform in-process quality assurance checks.
  • Perform end-of-line testing and system debugging; generate test reports.
  • Troubleshoot autonomy system and base vehicle issues as needed.
  • Help set up workshop assembly areas.
