Job summary

Volvo Group seeks a field quality and technical support specialist to ensure reliable performance of autonomous trucks in commercial operation. You will detect, investigate and resolve customer quality issues, perform triage across safety, quality, engineering and partners, and drive corrective actions to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with engineering and program management to develop software and system compatibility solutions across vehicle platforms, while supporting fleet upfits

Qualifications

• Experience investigating field quality issues for complex systems and driving containment and corrective actions
• Strong technical triage skills coordinating across safety, quality, engineering and partners
• Ability to apply structured problem-solving methods with clear documentation and traceability
• Translate real-world operational data and incident trends into actionable engineering inputs
• Customer mindset balancing uptime, safety and long-term product quality

Responsibilities

• Investigate field quality issues for autonomous truck systems and drive containment and corrective actions
• Perform technical triage across safety, quality, engineering and partner interfaces
• Document findings with traceability and clear requirements for corrective actions
• Support contingency technical solutions and ensure software compatibility across vehicle platforms
• Capture customer inputs to influence future product generations and field upfits
