Job summary

Aquent seeks an innovative Engineer to own vehicle dynamics performance for autonomous mobility. You will work with robotics and vehicle engineering experts to develop a responsive platform and ensure ride quality, safety, and comfort in next‑gen autonomous vehicles.

You will use MSC Adams, CarMaker, and Matlab/Simulink to build high‑fidelity models, correlate CAE with tests, and drive performance targets while supporting cross‑functional teams in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of vehicle dynamics development and simulation experience.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with CAE-to-test correlation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity multibody vehicle dynamics models using MSC Adams.
• Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to improve ride and handling.
• Generate suspension and vehicle loads per established processes.
• Develop vehicle dynamics metrics and targets using tests and CAE data.
• Support performance balancing across vehicle integration attributes and software controls.
• Drive active safety performance development and validation to meet industry standards.
• Correlate simulation results with actual measurements to improve accuracy.
