Job summary

Comrise is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics CAE Engineer in Foster City, CA to support development of ride, handling, stability, and dynamic performance for autonomous mobility platforms.

You will leverage multibody modeling and test data, collaborating with chassis, CAE, and integration teams to deliver safe and reliable vehicle performance. A Master’s degree and 5+ years in the field are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in vehicle dynamics engineering, performance development, or simulation.
• Hands-on experience with CAE tools, especially MSC Adams, CarMaker, and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with CAE-to-test correlation and validation of vehicle dynamics models.
• Strong understanding of ride, handling, suspension, and vehicle stability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity multibody vehicle dynamics models using MSC Adams.
• Support ride/handling development through CAE simulations, tests, and analyses.
• Generate loads for suspension, full-vehicle, and powertrain per engineering processes.
• Establish and validate dynamics metrics using simulation and test data.
• Collaborate with design teams and suppliers to improve components and dynamics.
