Job summary

Avride Inc. seeks an autonomous vehicle operator to drive robotaxis in downtown Dallas using the Uber platform, earning $25/hour. This full-time role (40 hours per week) is based out of our Irving, Texas office, with driving primarily in downtown Dallas.

You will work with remote operators and support data collection and testing efforts. Responsibilities include facilitating safe trips, performing vehicle safety checks, and assisting with basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience as an autonomous vehicle operator or driving for app-based platforms.
• Valid US driver's license for the last 3+ years.
• Candidates must be at least 25 years old.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs in the last 5 years.
• Ability to work with remote operators and data collection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and legally to collect data on system performance.
• Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and operations leaders.
• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing for safety.
• Prepare vehicles daily for in-field operations with safety checks.
• Submit detailed reports to support system improvements.
• Be prepared for actions of other drivers and pedestrians.
• Remain alert and distraction-free while in vehicles.
