Job summary

Avride is seeking a full-time autonomous vehicle operator to drive robotaxis in downtown Dallas using the Uber platform. You will alternate between manual driving and supervising autonomous mode, earning $25/hour on a 40-hour week, based out of Irving, TX.

You will collect data, assist with testing, perform safety checks, coordinate with remote operators, and document each shift. Benefits include weekly pay and a 401(k) plan via a third-party payroll partner.

Qualifications

• Experience operating autonomous vehicles or driving for app-based services.
• Uber Driver account in good standing.
• Valid US driver's license for 3+ years.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs in the last 5 years.
• Ability to anticipate hazards and stay focused in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate autonomous vehicles safely and lawfully to collect data on system performance.
• Interact professionally with riders, engineers, and operations leaders.
• Monitor vehicle performance and conduct in-field testing for safety.
• Prepare vehicles with daily safety checks and system readiness.
• Submit detailed reports to support system improvements.
• Be alert to hazards and maintain distraction-free driving.
