Qualifications

• BS, MS, or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of work experience in relevant fields.
• Knowledge of control theories including MPC, optimal/robust/nonlinear control.
• Experience with state estimation (Kalman filter, Luenberger observer).
• Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink and Python; C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to vehicle dynamics and control development, supporting ACC/LK and trajectory planning.
• Design technologies to build the Autonomous Vehicle software stack and modules.
• Provide feedback on system architecture, failure modes, and redundancy.
• Build benchmarks for vehicle control and tune calibration across vehicle types.
• Drive integration of control functionality across platforms and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and maintain vehicle test suites and automated tests to avoid regressions.
