Job summary
Polluxa, Inc. seeks an Embedded Software Engineer for the Drive-By-Wire team to build and improve chassis control software on common ECU hardware for Level 4 autonomous technology. This onsite role is based in Santa Clara, CA.
You will develop functionally safe software following automotive standards, create model-based toolchains in MATLAB/Simulink, and collaborate with requirements, hardware, and systems engineers to validate and integrate software across the vehicle.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in automotive/electrical/computer engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of embedded automotive systems experience (ADAS/Autonomy or chassis controls).
- Experience with ISO26262, MISRA-C, AUTOSAR or similar.
- Experience in automated software generation toolchains.
- Experience with C and Simulink-based modeling in MATLAB.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve chassis controls software for ECU hardware.
- Ensure functional safety per automotive standards.
- Design toolchains for model-based software on ECU firmware.
- Collaborate with requirements engineers for validation.
- Develop test plans and CI for releases.
- Bring-up, testing and verification for autonomous vehicle builds.
- Tune, calibration, triaging, and data post-processing of test results.
