Qualifications

• A degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting.
• Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Strong skills in X‑Ray and EKG interpretation.
• Experience in occupational medicine and workers' compensation.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions.
• Extensive knowledge of and ability to apply evidence‑based medicine.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality, urgent care to patients with various injuries and illnesses.
• Performing minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
• Interpreting X‑Rays and EKGs to diagnose conditions and guide treatment plans.
• Providing occupational medicine services and managing workers' compensation cases.
• Educating patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and appropriate at‑home care.
• Making critical clinical decisions based on evidence‑based medicine.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in emergency medicine and general healthcare practices.
