Job summary

SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ is seeking a hands-on Test Integration Engineer to join a fast-moving engineering team developing autonomous systems. You will lead hardware bring-up, system integration, debugging, validation, and field testing across electrical, mechanical, embedded, and software domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on hardware bring-up and test.
• Extensive lab instrumentation experience.
• Strong Linux proficiency and command-line skills.
• Experience with embedded systems and firmware debugging.
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, RS-422/485, UART, I2C.
• Proficient in C++ or Python; able to pass coding assessment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate subsystems including motors, sensors, cameras, networking, and power.
• System bring-up, debugging, validation, and fault isolation.
• Debug Linux-based and STM32 embedded systems.
• Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers to diagnose issues.
• Develop and execute electrical, communications, and system tests.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software integration and root causes.
• Support field testing and validation in real-world environments.
• Build and maintain test fixtures, harnesses, and automation.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software engineers.
• Validate new hardware revisions and verify design changes.
