Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to deliver one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities in Lawrence, KS. The role offers autonomy, flexible scheduling, and meaningful patient outcomes, with telehealth options to extend access and continuity of care.

You will join a clinician-driven practice focused on aging in place, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered outcomes within the Geriatric House Calls model.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain.
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in homes and communities.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions to support wellness, longevity, mobility, independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.
