Job description

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Autonomous Shuttle Attendant to support daily operations for an on-demand autonomous ride-hailing service. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for riders by ensuring safe, efficient, and welcoming transportation experiences.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly communicative, safety-oriented, and experienced in customer-facing environments. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage service disruptions with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to positive rider experiences
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsExperience with conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques preferred
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures and safety protocols
• Proactive, dependable, and resourceful team player
• Comfortable using communication platforms such as Slack

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors
• Ability to lift and carry moderate loads
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts and operational locations as needed

Candidates must be available to work:

• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM shifts
  OR
• 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM / 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM shifts

Initial scheduling may begin as:

• Monday – Friday

However, weekend flexibility will be required in the future based on business needs and rider support operations in Foster City.

Pay Rate = $25 per hour
