Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is expanding its systems engineering team to lead the development of system and subsystem requirements for autonomous products and robotics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in requirements elicitation, generation, and product development for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of design principles, hardware development, and system engineering methodologies.
• Experience in autonomous systems or robotics is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, process, and track product goals, KPIs, and requirements.
• Translate product objectives into detailed system and subsystem requirements to guide development efforts.
• Create interface control documents and ensure seamless integration of product components, including vehicle interactions.
• Participate in conceptual design reviews to ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements and traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support the development of system-level verification and customer acceptance test cases.
• Evaluate new feature requests by collaborating across the mechatronics team (mechanical, electrical, software).
• Travel to customer sites as needed to address design issues and provide development feedback.
