Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI, seeks an RN for a unique hybrid role in Procedural Sedation and the Vascular Surgery Clinic. You will provide direct patient care, assist with in-office vascular procedures, and manage pre- and post-procedure coordination while educating patients.

This full-time, 0.9 FTE position offers autonomy and opportunities for growth in a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing; RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS and Procedural Sedation training required after hire.
• Preferred: 1+ year RN experience in sedation or procedural settings.
• Ability to thrive through change and help develop workflows for this evolving role.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on nursing care in Procedural Sedation and Vascular Surgery Clinic settings.
• Assist with procedural sedation and in-office vascular procedures.
• Care for patients pre-, intra-, and post-op, including education and pre-procedure calls.
• Perform telephone triage, patient education, and coordinate patient care.
• Hands-on skills: administering sedation medications; starting and maintaining vascular access; INR and glucose testing; wound vacs and dressing changes.
• Collaborate with surgery and vascular clinicians in renovated spaces on the 3rd floor of the Heritage building.
