Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapy services within a collaborative, patient-centered setting. You will lead evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning to support resident progress.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, supervise PTAs and rehab techs, ensure compliant documentation, and stay current with clinical guidelines to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
• Valid state Physical Therapist license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and/or overseeing physical therapy services as referred.
• Ensure timely documentation and billing within the medical record.
• Establish and maintain effective, patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary team members, and facility staff.
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with state practice acts and policies.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance physical therapy programs, techniques, and services to support quality outcomes.
